Throughout John’s career, he has had many rewarding careers as an accountant.  He’s worked in public accounting, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profits, insurance, and service industries.  All these experiences have helped to understand the demands facing business owners.

Generally, considered an “outdoors” person. John grew up in southern Indiana in the same county as John Mellencamp. He grew up fishing, camping, hiking, and traveling around the US. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, being on the water, hiking and woodworking. He looks forward to all the outdoor opportunities that coastal North Carolina offers. NC CPA Certificate #39570

Amber grew up in a small lobstering village on the coast of Maine. Growing up around generations of lobstermen, she appreciates the hard work and passion these individuals and their families have for their careers. At 95, her grandfather is one of the oldest working lobstermen on the coast of Maine. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Maine. Early in her career, she worked in public accounting, non-profits, and governmental.

In her spare time, Amber enjoys shopping (she’s looking forward to the new venues in Wilmington), spending time with her pets (ask about her corgi), spending time at the beach, and visiting family. She too is looking forward to the opportunities that the coast of North Carolina offers.

Barbara grew up in Latrobe, Pennsylvania – home of Arnold Palmer, Mister Rogers, Rolling Rock beer and the Pittsburgh Steeler’s training camp, as well as home of the first banana split!!  She attended Edinboro State University and then moved to Washington, DC where she spent the next twenty years working as a legal secretary for large international law firms.  In search of a quieter lifestyle, she moved to Wilmington and has worked as an administrative assistant for a variety of firms.  She enjoys that quiet lifestyle, spending time in the kitchen and spending time with friends and family and her four-legged companion Buster.
